The problem is often the device: a phone bought abroad may be locked to a carrier, and a new phone financed through a carrier usually requires a Canadian credit history you don't have yet. - Keep your receipt. Every sale comes with one, along with a 1-year warranty and a lifetime warranty on any network problem.

Who gets the newcomer discount?
People who recently arrived in Canada, on presentation of proof of recent arrival in store (study or work permit, visa, etc.). The discount is 10% off a refurbished iPhone, with the code WELCOME10.
Will my iPhone work with a Canadian carrier?
Our iPhones are unlocked: they are not tied to any carrier. Depending on the model you use a SIM card, an eSIM or both; some recent models, like the iPhone Air, are eSIM-only. Before you pay, we show you in store what the one you pick takes, so you can check it with the carrier you choose.
Do I need a credit history?
Not for the iPhone. You buy it in store, paid in cash, by Interac or by card, with no contract: no credit check for the phone. The plan itself depends on the carrier you choose.
Can the discount be combined?
Not with another discount: one per purchase. You can still trade in your old phone: its value comes off the price.
What warranty do I get?
1 year on any functional defect (lifetime on any network problem), and you test the iPhone in store before you pay.
I brought an iPhone from my home country. Can you buy it?
Bring it in for a free 5-minute evaluation. If it suits us, you're paid in cash on the spot, or its trade-in value comes off the price of an iPhone from the shop.
Student, newcomer, Montréal resident or Laval resident: do you pay more for my phone?
Students (valid student ID), newcomers (proof of recent arrival) and residents of Montréal and Laval (postal code starting with H): when you sell us your phone, we pay up to 10% more than the like-new cash price shown (5 to 10% depending on the model), on select models; when you trade it in toward one of our phones, its trade-in value can reach the cash price shown + 15%. The exact amount is confirmed in store after the free check. One offer per transaction: the bonus on the phone you sell, or 10% off the phone you buy. On a trade-in the bonus lowers the price of the phone you buy; it is never paid out in cash. On Saturdays and Sundays, anyone who sells us their phone for cash in store gets up to 10% more than the like-new cash price shown (select models; not on trade-ins), no proof needed.
