- Back up your data, sign out of iCloud or Google and take out the SIM card.
- Come with a photo ID, no appointment, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- A check in front of you, about 5 minutes, then a firm price.
- You are paid in cash, with a receipt.
Option 2: a private sale (cash, if all goes well)
- Set your price from closed sales of the same model and storage.
- Post clear photos on Marketplace or Kijiji, with the battery health.
- Meet in a busy public place.
- Count the money in front of the buyer and check the bills before handing over the phone.
- Erase the phone before the meeting, or in front of the buyer once you are paid.
Option 3: by mail (paid by transfer)
Outside Montréal, sell us your phone by mail: get your price online or on WhatsApp, ship it for free, and you are paid by Interac e-Transfer or bank wire once it is received and checked. The confirmed price is honoured if the condition matches, and every sale comes with a receipt.
